Kitchen Manager, Line Cooks, Servers in Central Oregon

Spend the summer in beautiful Central Oregon at Cultus Lake Resort! We are seeking reliable, hard-working, coachable, and friendly team players. Limited on-site housing in our employee dorm is available, but we also need a few employees with their own RV’s or folks who are willing to camp. Pay is DOE plus participation in our restaurant employee tip pool, meals, and cool perks like free boats and awesome co-workers.

Kitchen Manager: Preferably with 1-2 years management experience. Lead our kitchen as we prepare high quality smoked BBQ plates. Supervise BOH employees, direct day to day activities, manage inventory and ordering, and ensure that cost and pricing targets are being met. Set an example when it comes to efficiency, effectiveness, and upbeat attitude. Previous kitchen manager is still on staff (working in a different dept) and available to train during the transition. The position is salaried, DOE, and runs from May 1 – Sept 30th.

Line Cook: Preferably with at least 1-2 years experience who can hit the ground running in our from scratch BBQ kitchen. Must be able to prep and restock like mad, have exceptional attention to detail, and jump in where ever else is necessary. Looking for one line cook that can start May 13th, and one that can start June 11th. Position starts at $14.50/hr plus tip pool.

Server: Bring your upbeat attitude while attending to our guests in our dining room and lakeside deck. Our servers do a little bit of everything, from pouring drinks to making milkshakes to busing tables. Preferred candidate will have some serving experience. Positions start either May 1st or June 11th. Position pays $13.50/hr plus tip pool.

Kitchen Utility: The hero of the kitchen! Looking for someone willing to jump in head first to any task asked of them, including kitchen prep, restocking, ice cream scooping, and odd jobs outside of the kitchen like cabin cleaning and firewood delivering. This position starts June 11th. Position pays $13.50/hr plus tip pool.

Just steps or a short drive from our resort, you can enjoy hiking, kayaking, fishing, mountain biking, rafting, camping, and more. Or, spend your days off exploring the town of Bend and visit one of our amazing breweries, float the Deschutes River, or enjoy an outdoor concert.

Our seasonal resort opens in Mid May and closes in Mid September. Positions generally will run through September 30th however we can accommodate some employees leaving as early as late August. Applicants can expect to work 40-50 hours a week, with two days off.
