Denali Park Zipline is located minutes from the main entrance of Denali National Park. Our season is short and intense! Zipline tours depart every day, all day, in just about all weather, mid-May to mid-September.

Here at Denali Park Zipline, we take great pride in our employees! We are looking for people who are able to bring each of the following characteristics with them to work every day, all summer long!

As for the Driver Guide position – Shuttle guests to and from our launch sites in 14 passenger Ford Transit vans with attention to detail and professional care. Many times, the driver guide is the first and last face the guest interacts with from our company. Provide knowledgeable information to guests during transit. Work closely with the sales office and keep on schedule.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Safely transport guests while providing local area information.
  • Assist with guest check-in.
  • Effectively communicate with office and management.
  • Understand and enforce safety requirements of zipline tour.
  • Track and adapt to updates or alterations to the shuttle schedule.
  • Communicate and maintain a positive relationship with hotel front desk staff.
  • Memorize and strictly adhere to the shuttle pick-up schedule.
  • Understand and follow all local driving laws.
  • Washing, fueling, and cleaning vehicles.
  • Safety inspection and documentation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Ability to work on feet and behind the driver’s seat for up to 8 hours a day.
  • Must be willing and able to assist in maintaining a clean fleet.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have a “Safety First” mentality.
  • Flexibility with scheduling.
  • Ability to think calmly and critically in high-stress situations.
  • First Aid and CPR certified.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years experience in driving with passengers.
  • 2-5 years experience in customer service.
  • Experience working in seasonal tourism is a major plus.
  • Familiarity with Denali National Park’s history, landscape, and wildlife.

Pay is DOE – starting at $16 per hour wage ($14 hourly base + $2 end of season bonus) + TIPS (tips will add at least $2-4/hour!)
