Guest Environment Expert/Housekeeping

Our job is not just to offer the guest a clean room and a freshly made bed. On top of that, it’s about building an experience that is unique and memorable for the guest. Our Guest Environment Experts are individuals who are experts in a variety of housekeeping functions, responsible for maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the entire hotel. They feel empowered to be on the move and do what needs to be done at all times. Whether handling guest requests, refilling housekeeping carts, cleaning rooms and common areas, or taking care of other responsibilities, Guest Environment Experts ensure that hotel spaces allow for a great guest experience.

Regardless of your position, there are a number of things critical to success (ensuring a safe workspace, following company guidelines and procedures, respecting confidentiality, maintaining quality standards, and making sure your uniform, personal appearance and communication is professional. The Experts in the guest environment are always on the go (stand, sit, walk for long periods of time) and are involved in all types of tasks (moving things, lifting, carrying, pushing and placing items under 50 pounds without assistance.) It is essential that Guest Environment Experts always do these tasks well (and other reasonable tasks requested of them) to keep guests satisfied and the hotel running.
