PFEIFER CAMP AMERICORPS PROGRAM
At Joseph Pfeifer Kiwanis Camp, our mission is building young lives through innovative education, outdoor recreation, and family involvement with the Pfeifer Camp AmeriCorps Program, Summer Camp, and the Counselor-In-Training (CIT) programs. Through our work with at-risk youth, we have received many local, national, and international awards, and were named a National Exemplary Substance Abuse Prevention Program. Our director was named a Champion of Change by the White House in 2012.

During the school year, AmeriCorps Counselors serve in the local schools as tutors and mentors to 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders.
