You&#8217;ll work with a staff partner to plan and deliver outdoor activities to a group of 8-12 girls and supervise all aspects of your campers&#8217; day. Depending on the camp, common activities include canoeing, kayaking, hiking, environmental education, arts and crafts, trying the climbing tower, team building, and STEM programming. Now hiring at these three camps:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> <b>Camp Togowoods<\/b> is located along the shores of Three Mile Lake in Wasilla, AK. Residential camp positions include Cooks, Counselors, Waterfront\/Boating, Climbing Wall, Arts and Crafts, and Healthcare.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li> <b>Camp Singing Hills <\/b>is located along on Edmonds Lake outside Chugiak, AK. Day camp positions include Counselors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n   <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <b>Rural Alaska Program<\/b> is a traveling day camp where Counselors fly between rural villages in small planes or ferry in Southeast and Southwest Alaska.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p> Depending on camp and position, compensation starts at $385\/week plus food and lodging, or $16.75\/hour. All staff also receive a $650 travel stipend which is evenly split between each paycheck. Like with regular pay, taxes, social security and Medicare are taken from travel stipends.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><i><br \/> Staff who sign and return their offer letter by the below deadlines will receive a hiring bonus, listed below, upon successful completion of their camp season. <\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><i>December 15, 2022 &#8211; $500<\/i><\/li>\n<li><i>January 15, 2023 &#8211; $400<\/i><\/li>\n<li><i>February 15, 2023 &#8211; $300<\/i><\/li>\n<li><i>March 15, 2023 &#8211; $200<\/i><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p> Applicants must make a commitment for the full dates of employment, be at least 18 years old, possess excellent character, exert enthusiasm, patience, and understanding, work from a place of positivity, and are solution-oriented.
