Several positions are available with our recreation resort! Whitewater rafting guides, UTV assistants, restaurant staff, and more!

The Hoovers Always Rafting & Kayaking recreation resort partnership is excited to provide accommodations and fun to locals and travelers alike! We provide RV spots, Cabin & Tipi accommodations; Whitewater rafting, kayaking and lazy river tubing; and UTV rentals.

Hoovers and Always Rafting & Kayaking provide training to staff and certifications to all guides. Shared accommodations can be provided on-site for the season.

• Whitewater Guides will guide for a 10-mile stretch of the Sevier River through Marysvale Canyon. You will take 2-8 customers on your raft, safely navigating over a 1.5- to 2-hour trip while providing historical and geological insights to your customers. You will also guide kayaking trips for up to 4 other single-person or double-person kayaks. Responsibilities may also include shuttling customers, towing rafts, kayaks, and tubes to and from the river put-in and take-out locations, maintaining all river equipment, and customer engagement.

• UTV Assistants prepare vehicles for pick up, including cleaning and light maintenance, helping customers check out and return vehicles, and preparing for the next day’s schedule.

• Photographer responsibilities include checking customers in, driving yourself to various locations along the river to capture action shots, and returning to the store to transfer pictures to USB drives for sale. Camera and USB drives will be provided.

• Store/Restaurant Staff will greet customers, work the gift store register, take food orders, and occasionally prepare food.

• Groundskeeper is responsible for the daily upkeep and maintenance of the resort property including landscaping, parking areas, and common areas, and performs a range of duties to include but not limited to; painting, cleaning, clearing debris, and general upkeep of the grounds.
