Camp Zanika is a youth summer camp that provides children, in grades 1-12, an opportunity to live beneath the trees, learn under the stars, and experience the wonder of the great outdoors. On the shores of beautiful Lake Wenatchee, Camp Zanika is the ideal location for kids to learn new skills, have fun, and make friends & memories that will last a lifetime.

Pay and start day differ per position: $350 – $420 per week, including meals and housing. FLSA Section 13(a)(3)
Jobs available include:
Cabin Counselors (June 12) – Must be 18 or older. Responsible to lead a group of campers while building relationships in group situations, one-on-one interaction, activity leadership, and much more. Needs to be an enthusiastic leader, sensitive listener, positive role model, and friend to every kid in the cabin. Qualifications are outdoor/camping experience, and/or experience with children. One year of college or equivalent.
Unit Directors (June 9) – Must be 20 or older. A leadership position requires organizational aptitude and the ability to lead groups of participants in a variety of activities. This position is a resource position for counselors. A “counselor-to-the-counselors.” Qualifications include camp experience, experience with children, and the ability to supervise staff. Youth programs experience a plus. At least 2 years of college experience or equivalent are required. Must have a driver’s license and a good driving record.
Dance/Yoga Instructor (June 8) – Must be 19 or older. Instruct campers, develop dance activities, manage risks, and create dance programs. Organize and maintain supplies and equipment. Also responsible to help with other camp programs and activities as needed. Qualifications include training and experience in dance or Yoga
Challenge Course Coordinator (June 4) – Must be 19 or older * Ropes Course Certification Required Directs and facilitates high ropes course, low ropes activities, and initiative activities. Serve as support staff to counselors. Qualifications include Experience climbing, documentation and/or certification of skills, and experience in ropes course facilitation. Experience with children is a plus.
Lifeguards (June 7) – Must be 19 or older *WSI or LT certification Required Guard waterfront activities as assigned by Waterfront Director. Activities include swimming, canoeing, kayaking, and beachfront activities. Qualifications are current Red Cross WSI or LT. Waterfront experiences are a plus.
