We are looking for a Rooms Division Manager/Assistant General Manager to join our hospitality team in Boothbay Harbor, Maine.
Applicants need to have strong leadership skills, a positive team-player attitude and strive to provide great customer service. Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus.

What we are looking for:
- 3 years of hospitality experience managing a team of 6 or more
- 4-year degree or equivalent education/experience
- Must display professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness at all times in the workplace and community
- Supervisory skills: interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, documenting, motivating
- Property Management Systems, Microsoft Office, computer skills
- Knowledge and ability to perform all functions, procedures, and policies of departments supervised
- Ability to train and develop associates
- Ability to multi-task in a high-stress environment with a smile
- Ability to solve guest issues with professionalism
- Ability to complete administrative duties in a timely manner
- Ability to promote positive morale and a friendly attitude!
Specific Responsibilities:
- Front office shift work
- Scheduling and general administrative duties
- Hiring, training, coaching, and counseling to develop a strong team
- Maintain labor budgets and expenditures
- Reservation and revenue management
- Maintain safety and security practices, have a thorough knowledge of emergency procedures
- Ensure guest satisfaction
- Daily communication with staff, department heads, general manager, and corporate office
- Establish operating procedures and ensure compliance
- Assist in the daily operations of all hotel departments as needed including front office, housekeeping, laundry, retail, restaurant, and maintenance
- Advice and assist General Manager
- Other duties and projects as requested
