Searching for experienced Plumbers near Yosemite!
Position Summary: The Plumber is responsible for all aspects of installation, maintenance, inspection, operation, and repair of plumbing systems in assigned locations(s). Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.
Essential Functions:
- Inspects assigned areas on a routine basis and performs maintenance where necessary to keep facilities in functioning and serviceable condition
- Completes daily, weekly, or monthly checklists of pre-scheduled building and equipment maintenance procedure
- Repair and maintain plumbing, replace defective washers, replace or mend broken pipes, and open clogged drains.
- Reports any major maintenance needs and recommends corrective action as appropriate
- Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures
- Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager
Qualifications:
- Knowledge and experience in repair and general maintenance of plumbing required
- Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be able to follow safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks
- Requires frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
- Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.
