The
Fimfo Adventures Manager is responsible for providing an epic guest experience and ensuring all safety and operating procedures are met. This role will be focused on fantastic customer service and providing a fun-filled environment for all ages. The FAM will establish and implement short and long-term goals for all Fimfo Adventure offerings. This Manager will oversee related functions and activities, and administer company policies and procedures. This is a full-time leadership position that reports to the Assistant General Manager.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Strategize, and generate momentum and excitement around the Fimfo Adventures guest experience
  • Hire, train, and schedule team members for the alpine Coaster and zip Line
  • Coordinate and oversee the daily operations of the assigned departments
  • Monitor and motivate team members
  • Ensure team members in assigned departments are compliant with company assigned trainings
  • Develop a team through consistent feedback and goal setting practices
  • Collaborate with management and HR regarding employment actions, including discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain the safety and compliance with state and local regulations for staff certifications for all Fimfo Adventures offerings; ensuring follow up is handled appropriately
  • Be willing to obtain certifications necessary for alpine coaster and zipline operations
  • Manage daily aspects of the assigned departments and its staff to ensure projects are completed and guest needs are met
  • Make day-to-day decisions within or for the assigned department
  • Required to perform same tasks as the individuals they supervise
  • Collaborate with other managers to plan and coordinate activity programs that create unforgettable guest experiences
  • Manage conflicts and resolve complaints about or within the assigned departments
  • Organize and provide timely follow up on all requests from guests and the home office partners
  • Coordinate and oversee various projects from start to finish
  • Participate in other projects and activities as assigned
  • Manage inventory and supplies for assigned departments
  • Collaborate with the Assistant General Manager to analyze costs, benefits, and losses of company profit
  • Monitors department performance, identifying and facilitating opportunities to increase productivity and efficiency
  • Operate within prescribed budgets for labor and expenses
  • Leverage Fimfo Adventures to drive lodging business and increase Fimfo brand awareness
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of 3-5 years in a management position. Hospitality, Hotel, and RV Resort Management is helpful but not required
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to work long hours and weekends
  • Ability to be on call 24 hours a day during occasional periods
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, motivational, and writing skills
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced office environment and perform physical duties of those they supervise
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Personable, enjoy working with children/people
  • Possess excellent organizational and management skills, leadership skills, and the ability to manage and complete multiple tasks simultaneously
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position
  • Regularly move throughout the location, with or without assistance
  • Continuously climb, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and crawl
  • Able to manipulate fingers, hands, and arms to reach, carry, lift, etc
