Marketing Director needed at Hawaiian Whale Watching Foundation

We have an immediate opening for a seasoned Marketing Director. This position reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for developing and executing Marketing and PR strategies for Pacific Whale Foundation and it’s subsidiaries. The Marketing Director works in close collaboration with the core leadership team to drive revenue for PacWhale Eco-Adventures, maximize overall giving to the Foundation, and position the organization as a global and local community partner. This position manages a six-person Marketing department, vendors and suppliers.

Our ideal candidate connects strongly to our mission, is a confident, driven and dynamic leader who can nurture and develop teams, has a track record of developing and maintaining community partnerships and relations, possesses a related degree, work experience at a similar level, and at least five years of experience working in non-profit marketing. Marketing experience with a social enterprise and grant-writing experience will set you apart.

This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position based at our headquarters at Ma’alaea Harbor on Maui. Remote work is allowed; periodic in-office time is required.
