Groundskeeper & Maintenance Position

The Groundskeeper & Maintenance Worker is responsible for maintaining an aesthetically-pleasing outdoor area surrounding residences, performing maintenance on structures as needed these duties include but are not limited to the following:

Maintenance & Groundskeeper Duties:

  • Caulking/Staining/Painting buildings as necessary to prolong life of siding and material
  • Spot repairs on buildings as needed
  • Manage garbage and recycle at residences
  • Minor ranch duty/animal care help as needed
  • Maintaining and repairing fencing around pastures
  • Work with landscape company to manage grounds and grass around residences
  • Maintaining and Mowing of native grasses in areas outlined on all 3 properties/mowing and brushhogging road and driveway frontages on all 3 properties
  • Trimming and weed-wacking at edges/around trees and fences/utilize fence trimmer where able
  • Watering trees as outlined in tree watering plan
  • Monitoring irrigation system output, addressing issues with under or overwatering, repairing leaks as needed
  • Maintaining and repairing landscape lighting(bi-monthly checks)
  • Assist in Maintaining/adding/or Replacing Deer Fencing as needed around trees/orchard/garden
  • Ideal candidates would be a couple to fill this job opening

This position will begin as full time for the 2022 summer season with the possibility of year-round work in the future for the right candidates. Guaranteed 40+ hour work will begin approximately May 1 and ends November 1, Snowmelt/fall dependent.

Compensation DOE and position. $16 is a starting wage, but depending on experience and usefulness you could earn more.

On-site housing is available if needed and will be factored into total wage compensation.
