Summary of Position: This position reports directly to the General Manager of Land’s End. This position is accountable for the retention of contracted rental management business with the Land’s End Lodge owners by executing a superior level of client service and support to them, as well as to the internal customers of LEAC who are charged with booking and cleaning the Land’s End Lodges

Primary emphasis is placed on direct and continuous contact with all Lodge owners under contract with LEAC, to ensure LEAC is optimizing their rental property investment consistent with LEAC’s operating policies and procedures. Secondary emphasis is on coordination of Lodge rental related tasks with the appropriate personnel: Land’s End Management, Accounting, Front Desk, Housekeeping and Maintenance personnel. The Lodge Manager will be responsible for coordinating repairs and cleaning services outside the contracted scope of LEAC’s services on an as-directed basis, and which can involve such entities as local vendors, service providers, shippers, and the Homeowners Association

This position is expected to help clean Lodges, both between guest reservations as well as on deep cleaning projects. The Lodge Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing the rental contracts (Agreement to Provide Rental and Cleaning Services) between LEAC and its clients in accordance with Land’s End standards

This position is responsible for, ordering Owner-provided supplies listed on Addendum A of the Agreements; for reviewing monthly Owner statements; for coordinating LEAC work orders and maintenance issues for the Lodges. This includes, but is not limited to, daily cleaning for guest turn over between reservations, annual periodic outsourcing of window cleaning, carpet or upholstery cleaning, annual maintenance service, and general replacement and upkeep

This position must also to be prepared and able to assist any Housekeeping employee in the completion of duties as necessary

Essential Functions
1. Maintain current contracts for all Units
2. Maintain complete records of work ordered and performed on individual Lodges
3. Review and approve invoices by non-LEAC vendors associated with Lodge maintenance and cleaning
4. Obtain Lodge Owner approval for high budget items in excess of $200
5. Lodge Manager will advise the GM on all matters and copy GM in all correspondences
6. Support Front Desk and Housekeeping Department in execution of their duties
7. Inspect Lodges for cleanliness, appropriate guest amenities, and the correct working condition of all equipment, fixtures, appliances etc
8. Update GM of potential Lodge or guest problems
9. Generate work orders for small Maintenance tasks for any damage or equipment problems with the Lodges, working closely with the Maintenance & Front Desk staff
10. Track Work Orders using FIXX or LEAC approved software to ensure that follow through is completed on all items large and small
11. Create protocols for discovery or detection of renter-caused damage or missing items
12. Personally demonstrate a commitment to guest services by responding promptly to guest and owner needs with an interest and concern in satisfying every guest and owner
13. Manage staff for conformity to policies and take corrective action where necessary
14. Schedule and supervise periodic Deep Cleaning of Lodges
15. Perform job description of Housekeeper; or Housekeeping Manager on an as-needed basis
16. Knowledge of OSHA and safety standards within the Housekeeping department, including MSDS procedures and MSDS notebook
17. Any other tasks assigned by management

Other Functions
1. Must be able to work flexible schedule. Work any day, and any shift, including holidays and weekends

4. Comply with Land’s End Resort's dress code and personal hygiene standards
5. Understand chain of command and follow it

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
1. Able to follow procedures and policies
2. Ability to work independently
3. Able to work with cleaning chemicals
4. Handle constructive criticism
5. Ability to supervise and work well with staff
6. Previous experience managing a team through motivation, coaching, and development
7. The ability to anticipate guest or owner needs, change goals and direction quickly, and multitask
8. Ability to supervise and monitor all Lodges staff and report any problems to GM
9. Be proficient at using the Room Key property management program for all housekeeping and maintenance functions

Qualifications
1. Must have own phone
2. Have reliable transportation
3. Able to lift 50 lbs. and climb stairs
4. Must be dependable and a team player
5. Must be flexible
6. Experience in housekeeping, laundry, and supervisory experience preferred.
