The Forge is located on Put-in-Bay (South Bass Island) in the middle of Lake Erie. Often called “The Key West of the Midwest”, we are a seasonal resort island that welcomes more than 750, 000 visitors between Memorial Day to Labor Day. We opened our doors to the public 10 years ago in 2012 and have grown our business to be one of our island’s favorite spots for breakfast, lunch dinner, craft cocktails, and live entertainment. We are looking for a handful of energetic, enthusiastic, charismatic personalities to add to our team this season. You must have a true work ethic that aligns with our companies quest to give our customers the best possible experience while they are in our dining room. We have many positions within our kitchen such as fry, sautée, crêpe, and prep. If these areas are new to you, don’t be intimidated, we are willing to train as long as you have a driven work ethic and are ready to learn.
The contract period will be from Mid May to October 1st (at the minimum). We do have housing available for full-time employees at a $75 a week flat (no utilities). Housing can be further discussed during your interview.
