Looking for a seasoned innkeeper/housekeeping manager.  End of season/year bonuses paid time off (two weeks per year). Free private housing;1 bedroom apartment with full kitchen, bathroom, and living room included with this position ($1,200/month value).


Oversees and coordinates daily operations of Cascade Lodge to ensure the highest standards for cleanliness, product quality, and guest service. The ideal candidate will be positive, energetic, and knowledgeable of lodging operations. Must be hands-on in all aspects of the day-to-day operation with a focus on excellent customer service and exceptional guest experience. Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.


  • Ensures that all areas of the property are properly cleaned and ready for guests’ arrival.
  • Anticipates and assesses guests’ needs and responds in a courteous and professional manner. Serves as night MOD/caretaker, answers phone calls, and assists guests with minor issues after business hours.
  • Plans for making orders, and keeps accurate inventory of housekeeping supplies.
  • Monitors and maintains a proper inventory of all supplies; cleaning, linen, guest toiletries, etc.
  • Ensures housekeeping supplies are well maintained.
  • Manages and assists in all housekeeping duties, housekeeping duties are part of this job.
  • Responds to emails, answers phone calls, monitors, and manages reservations, front desk shifts are part of this job.
  • Works with the front desk team on matters pertaining to guest reservations, front desk shifts are part of this job.
  • Keeps accurate maintenance logs, and promptly reports major maintenance issues to the maintenance technician.
  • Inspects rooms and all common areas on a daily basis and promptly addresses any and all issues that may be present.
  • Re-stocks retail area and manages retail sales.
  • Develops, implements, and maintains deep cleaning schedules.
  • Manages expenses within approved budget constraints.
  • Prepares accurate and timely reports as required.
  • Trains, supervises, motivates, and develops housekeeping staff when necessary and manages workflow.
  • Provides day-to-day guidance and oversight of the team; actively works to promote and recognize performance.
  • Keeps up to date on overall activities, identifying problem areas, and taking corrective actions.
  • The Innkeeper may also have marketing responsibilities online, via phone, and in person.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.


  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • 2+ years related experience or equivalent
  • Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating employees
