Great Camp Sagamore is seeking a vibrant, customer-oriented person to assist the day to day interaction with registered guests, staff and visitors.

This position provides ongoing contact with our guests and patrons. They record reservation data, process payments, and assist with financial reports. Event planning includes assisting with private events such as weddings, reunions, and donor appreciation events.
This is a full-time, seasonal, non-exempt, hourly position that runs from May through October. The standard work schedule is eight hours per day, five days per week. Employees will have two days off per week to pursue their own interests and enjoy the Adirondacks. Compensation includes room and board in our historic rooms and full use of the recreational facilities.
A hospitality college degree and/or previous experience in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required. Recent graduates, retirees and everyone in-between are encouraged to apply.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with general office support
- Greet guests, answer telephones and provide directions and information
- Evaluate guest needs and provide appropriate services
- Operate various equipment and computer systems as required
- Communicate rates, secure reservations, receive and record deposits and payments
- May post payments and charges daily and balance cash drawer daily
- Create appropriate notes in individual reservations to ensure consistent communication within departments
- Assists with Event planning
Salary: starting at $12.50-$14.00/hour. Includes free lodging & meals at Great Camp Sagamore
