SUMMARY
(Summer) Under the direction of the assistant superintendent and the Director or Agronomy. Including but not limited to, mowing greens, tees, fairways and rough; grass trimming; seeding, sodding and planting trees and flowers; changing cups; and preparing course for daily play.
(Winter) Remove snow and ice from around all walkways, patios, and steps at designated structures. Place ski racks on snow front each morning and shovel decks at Mid Mountain and transformers. Service all bathrooms at Mid Mountain and Summit. Clean lots and patios of trash and empty trash cans daily. Place and remove parking cones as directed daily. Clear propane ports as needed. Stack chairs and tables on patios before storms.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Trash and litter pick-up from the course.
- Mowing of greens, tees, fairways and rough using powered equipment.
- Grass trimming using string trimmers and rotary lawn mowers.
- Raking bunkers with a powered rake.
- Changing cups and preparing the course for daily play.
- Landscaping with hand tools.
- Laying sod, seeding, planting trees and planting flowers.
- Assist in the watering of newly landscaped areas.
- Help maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Other golf course maintenance activities as directed by the assistant superintendent.
- Assist in the tree removal process
- Work on construction projects on golf course and grounds.
- Snow removal of parking lots, roads, and sidewalks.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Detail Oriented
- Clean driving record
- Prior work in golf course front of house experience
- Possession of a valid driver’s license
- Minimum age of 16
- Able to commute/relocate

Please be advised that the location of this position is in the mountains. Inclement weather can and will be encountered on a regular basis, especially throughout the winter. Reliable transportation to and from work is a necessity. Access to a 4WD or AWD vehicle is highly recommended.
