*Yonder is hiring for the 2022 season which started March 1st, 2022 and will end in the late fall. *

A little more info: Yonder Escalante is located near Bryce Canyon National Park and within Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument (midway between Salt Lake City and Las Vegas).

We are looking for great humans who are local or have their own self-contained housing / “rig” (van life, RV, camper trailer, tiny home, bus home). Our employee grounds have full hook-ups, and our staff has access to those beautiful bathhouses as well.

Front Desk Agent

Wages starting at $15/hr.

What does that look like?  It’s a wide-ranging job. Here are some things you’ll be doing:

• Checking in guests to cabins, airstreams, and RV sites
• Cashing out purchases made in the General Store
• Stocking the General Store’s inventory
• Informing guests about the park and surround areas
• Answering text messages, phone calls, and emails from guests
• Making and managing reservations
• Helping guests bring bags to their rooms (don’t worry, you get to drive a golf cart!)
• Keeping our beautiful bathhouses spotlessly clean

Public Area Attendant

Wages starting at $15/hr.

What does that look like? It’s a wide-ranging job. Here are some things you’ll be doing:

• Running our drive-in movie theater and concession stand
• Keeping our beautiful bathhouses spotlessly clean
• Cleaning vintage cars at the drive-in
• Helping guests bring bags to their rooms (don’t worry, you get to drive a golf cart)
• Keeping the trash cans empty and the grounds looking good
• Strutting your smarts at the pool to keep the water clear and the swimmers happy
• Stripping rooms

Housekeeper

Wages starting at $15/hr.

What does that look like? Here are some things you’ll be doing:

• Cleaning rooms (tiny cabins and vintage airstreams, pretty cool, right?)
• Maintaining squeaky clean bathhouses
• Staying on top of laundry
• Stripping rooms of linen and guest leftovers

Kitchen Manager

Wages starting at $18/hr.

What does that look like? Here are some things you’ll be doing:

• Maintaining systems set in place
• Responsible for ordering while maintaining budget costs (don’t worry, it’s 2 orders a week!)
• Leading by example cooking, cleaning, and prepping elbow to elbow with a small kitchen staff
• Upholding kitchen staff to kitchen procedures, processes, and recipes
• Working in a small space efficiently while maintaining order and cleanliness
• Being self-motivated and have the ability to work alone efficiently
• Helping maintain a staff culture of accountability and understanding
• Taking care of guests out of a food truck (taking orders, cooking, tidying up, etc.)

The Kitchen Manager reports to the General Manager and will manage a food truck and the General Store’s grab-n-go options and serve breakfast and dinner from the food truck with a small kitchen staff. Facilities include the food truck and a small prep kitchen.

Cook

Wages start at $16/hr.

What does that look like? Here are some things you’ll be doing:

• Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitized workspace
• Keeping grab and go food items for the park’s General Store offerings stocked
• Prepping food for service hours
• Cooking to order
• Taking care of guests out of a food truck (taking orders, cooking, tidying up, etc.)

Cooks report to the Kitchen Manager and will work in our food truck and prep grab-n-go options for the General Store’s offerings. Facilities include the food truck and a small prep kitchen.

Engineer

Wages starting at $16/hr.

What does that look like? Here are some things you’ll be doing:

• Maintain preventative maintenance programs
• Property grounds upkeep
• Repairing things that break in the cabin and airstream units
• Riding a golf cart!
• Cleaning HVAC filters
• Cleaning and maintaining pool + spa
• Execute repairs assigned by management to a high standard
• Basic knowledge of:
  • HVAC
  • Groundskeeping
  • Plumbing
  • Light electrical
  • Pool + spa
