Dining Room Manager Duties:
- Responsible for the daily operation of dining room and lounge, executing 100 – 200 covers per meal
- Responsible for orientation, training, and daily supervision of front of house staff
- Responsible for beverage and labor cost goals
- Assist with ideas for restaurant promotions, marketing ideas, signature dishes/drinks, area visibility, etc.
- Prepare weekly schedule based on anticipated retail and banquet cover counts
- Weekly beer, wine, and liquor ordering and monthly beverage inventory
- Maintain customer service standards, handle complaints, promote a positive guest experience
- Coordinate with kitchen and front office on group and banquet business; oversee front of house banquet service
- Cleanliness, organization, and set up of dining room, lounge, and storage areas
- Beverage cost controls (pricing, waste, portion control, etc)
- Maintain computer functions (menu programming, item inventory, pricing, specials, etc)
- Act as host, cashier, or bartender on a regular basis
- Season Dates – early May to late October
