The A Bar A Ranch is a historic guest ranch in southern Wyoming. We have a wonderful seasonal staff of approximately 100 people, and hire a Crew Chef to prepare staff meals and take care of the team through nourishing food.
We provide housing on-site, all meals, competitive monthly salary DOE, tips share, optional 401k with company match, use of ranch facilities.
The Crew Chef works as a member of the Food & Beverage team, and reports to the Chef.

The Crew Chef (also called the Employee Dining Room (EDR) Chef) is responsible for planning and preparing all meals for the A Bar A staff (approximately 100 people) throughout the summer season (including planning for his/her days off). The Crew Chef is expected to work closely with the Chef and other members of the Food and Beverage team to provide abundant, healthful meals for the staff and to be responsive to individual staff dietary needs. The Crew Chef works with the Chef and Food and Beverage Manager to develop menus and to order supplies for meals and for general stocking of the Employee Dining Room. The Crew Chef works with the culinary team in all aspects of guest and staff meal preparation and cleaning tasks.
