Position Title: Camp Registrar

Department: Camp Kingfisher

Classification: Full-time; Non-exempt

Reporting to: Camp Kingfisher Co-Directors

Job Announcement

The Camp Registrar is responsible for all aspects of camp registration and customer service at Camp Kingfisher, a full-day environmental education summer camp. This position is extremely detail-oriented and requires a highly organized person. The Camp Registrar also assists with program implementation and camper supervision. Camp Kingfisher’s mission is to connect campers with the outdoors and each other. This position reports to the Camp Co-Directors. This is a full-time, non-exempt position and includes company PTO, flexibility in schedule, health insurance package and 401K.

Job Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service, information, and assistance to camp parents via phone, email and in person.

Handle all aspects of the registration process including, but not limited to, managing the e-commerce system, processing, and troubleshooting.

Manage specialty databases, including data entry, and online registration management.

Create camp documentation for parents including, but not limited to, camper forms and parent information packets.

Generate reports and provide a comprehensive year-end report.

Oversee camper daily check-in and assist with supervision of camp instructors during pre-camp hours.

Act as lead contact at occasional late-night camp programs.

Supervise campers and assist in behavioral management in the office as needed.

Assist with the training of camp counselors as needed by the Camp Co-Directors.

Assist with the daily teaching of camp programs as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Camp Co-Directors.

Support the efforts of all staff and volunteers at CNC.

Qualifications

At least 5 years of providing excellent customer service skills by phone, email, and in person.

Excellent communication skills with supervisors, camp families, and campers.

2-3 years of experience with point of sale and e-commerce technology.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Excellent database management skills.

Highly organized and extremely detailed oriented.

Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel, Publisher, Word, and Canva.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.

Ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage time, and be adaptable to schedule changes during the summer months.

Willingness and availability to work flexible hours in a variety of capacities (including some weekend and evening work). Hours will be increased during the summer months.

Current First Aid/CPR certification, course provided.

Willingness to work outdoors.

Must be able to lift over 20 pounds.

Valid GA driver’s license.
