Camp Director – Boys Camp

The Boys Camp Director is a year-round position, responsible for planning, recruiting, staff hiring, and leading the Boys Camp program and community. This position is the primary representative to all constituency groups (campers, parents, partner organizations, community leaders, seasonal and full-time staff, alumni, and AYF Board of Directors) and is responsible for ensuring that all state, American Camp Association, and AYF program policies and regulations are implemented and adhered to. The Camp Director is the primary culture and tone setter for the Boys Camp community. The role is responsible for fostering a positive, healthy, inclusive, and environment where participants are free to safely discover and develop their personal best. As a member of the Miniwanca Director Team, this position shares responsibility for the management of risk and response to emergencies on or off site throughout the summer camp season, and potentially beyond.
