Camp Counselor

The Day Camp Counselor is responsible for providing supervision, instruction, and ongoing assistance to the campers as well as assisting the Camp Leads in facilitating, developing and implementing daily programming. A primary function of this role is to ensure that each camper and family receives the highest caliber of service. The Camp Counselor will be assign tasks (set up/take down of equipment/supplies, etc.); assigned to supervise campers and assigned to assist in implement activities; follow protocol regarding handling of behaviors and special needs; support staff that need to administer all medical protocols; communicate all pertinent issues affecting programs to the Camp Leads; establish good rapport with families of the program campers as well as keeping them informed about concerns affecting the campers.
