Breakfast Line Cook needed near Yosemite!
Working with other morning cooks making breakfast and lunch menu at the June Bug Cafe. In addition to understanding the line and the menu, cooking breakfast eggs, desserts, and scratch soups are important.
This family-style restaurant has no servers and an open kitchen and features vegan, vegetarian, and meat options for all meals. A degree is great but we really just need line cooks with around four years of cooking experience who can be trained for the static breakfast and lunch menu. Flexibility in a small restaurant to understand what needs to be done and service to others is key. Our guests and locals state the June Bug Cafe is the number one reason for coming to the Bug.
This 50-acre property just outside Yosemite National Park is forested and on a hillside, is well known internationally for its spa, cafe and private cabins, tent cabins & small hostel. Friendly, fun, and open, the Bug has guests who are about 50% European and 50% Californian.
Tent Cabin with heater/cooler is $150.00 every two weeks with a $300 room deposit. We have a nice employee kitchen and bathrooms you do your part to clean. Yes, being vaccinated is important to us. Regional YARTS bus goes into Mariposa and Yosemite from the end of our road along with Amtrak going to SF or LA. Lots to do for the outside adventurer in this area for the best enjoyment.
We are looking for someone to commit from February through October. It is possible for a February through the end of May commitment as well. Thanks.

Please send a resume and an idea of why a remote area and this niche operation may work out for you. Please look at our website, Google reviews, and the Facebook pages for the Bug, the Cafe and the spa for a snapshot of us
